Tableau

Feeds: The Utilization score

Utilization is the dimension teams guess at most. Everyone can tell you whether a partner is technically integrated. Far fewer can tell you whether that integration is actually being used, or whether usage is growing.

The Tableau connection answers it with your own data. RevRadius reads a published data source on your Tableau site and pulls the real API-call history between you and each partner, period by period. That feeds the suggested Utilization score directly.

It matters that the data is yours. Scores grounded in a shared industry data network are only as differentiated as that network, and your competitors can buy the same access. Usage telemetry from your own product is something nobody else can see.

What you get

Real call volume, not a judgement

Per-partner API call history by period, read from the data source your analytics team already maintains. No new pipeline to build.

You can see the arithmetic

The score shows its working: calls against your target volume, as a percentage, mapped to a band. If you disagree with the score you can see exactly why it landed there, and override it.

Update usage without a full re-score

Refresh the Utilization score from the latest data on its own. Every other dimension stays exactly as your team scored it.

Setting it up

  1. 1

Create a personal access token from inside your Tableau site's own user settings. Note that a Cloud Manager token looks identical but will not work here.

  2. 2

Add your server URL, site name, and token in RevRadius. Credentials are stored encrypted.

  3. 3

Point it at the published data source holding your per-partner call history.

Scores from this connection feed the six RADIUS dimensions and the activation gap. You can override any generated score.

Put your Tableau data to work.
